Most of what we do is looking. The cut of a stone, a solder joint, a signature, a watch that has been polished too many times: these are the things that change a number.

We would rather tell you the unflattering detail than inflate an offer you cannot rely on. If we cannot place a piece, we say that too.

Clients come to sell, to buy, and to borrow. Whichever it is, the appointment is private, and the piece is in insured care while it is with us.
